I think the only way to spin your own yarn and have time to weave with it is to use an e-spinner. I have no idea how good the e-spinners are that I've seen on line. Unfortunately I then discovered weaving and I am realizing I just don't have time to do both... I think weaving is going to win. But I'm keeping the wheel, for plying and for fun.Patriciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18190138854931358065noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-71232803753868616.post-59271975323799099182015-04-16T15:35:26.913-06:002015-04-16T15:35:26.913-06:00I will definitely be experimenting with using hand...I will definitely be experimenting with using handspun for tapestry in the near future, so I'll be right there with you! It is a challenge with tapestry to get differently sized yarns to play nicely, but especially if you're not overly concerned about having the perfectly flat textile with square edges, handspun is an option.Rebecca Mezoffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16138972934775842473noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-71232803753868616.post-43629736734296498082015-04-16T15:25:51.741-06:002015-04-16T15:25:51.741-06:00I have been thinking for months about taking your ...I have been thinking for months about taking your online class but want to use my own handspun (it's not all the same wpi...sometimes it's just funky and fun). I just wasn't sure if I could do that with the class exercises. Maybe I should reconsider!Mandihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01516738115981145861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-71232803753868616.post-65977766307403657472015-04-05T20:36:12.404-06:002015-04-05T20:36:12.404-06:00Yay! Much more evocative, I think. BTW, lots of fun to hear about your spinning adventures.
