Those of you who are tapestry weavers probably know what "ATB8" means. For the majority of the 8 people who read this blog (who, incidentally, are related to me, and happily so), ATB8 stands for
American Tapestry Biennial 8. It is the biennial juried show of the
American Tapestry Alliance. I will be represented at that show with this piece.

The show will be at Elder Gallery in Lincoln, Nebraska from Sept 20 - Nov 15, 2010 and then the American Textile History Museum in Lowell, Massachusets from Jan 21 - May 1, 2011.
(And I just have to add, Whoo Hoo!!! I'm pretty excited about this one!)

ReplyDeleteThat's cool!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for mentioning that the tapestry will be in Lowell. I hadn't heard that there would be an exhibit at that museum, so I'll definitely go check it out.

Well done, Rebecca! I look forward to seeing it in 'person.' Will you get to either of the venues?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful piece! Deserves to be in ATB8. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! The piece is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThanks you all! And look--4 people who aren't my relatives read that post! :) I don't know if I'll get to either of the venues Kathy, though I'd love to get to Massachusetts. We'll see! I also have a show in Germany next fall, so I don't know how much more travel I'll be able to afford. Details on that one at
